## Packing Guidelines for GoZagel Services

At GoZagel, we prioritize the safe and efficient handling of your shipments. As outlined in our usage policy, the responsibility for packaging rests entirely with you, our valued customer.

Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you package your documents correctly before shipping.

### Document Packaging

#### Basic Packaging Requirements

• **Envelopes:** Please place all documents intended for shipping inside a white A4-sized envelope.

 **Important Note:** The envelope must be sealed in front of the courier to ensure the contents are verified before sealing.

• **Plastic Folders:** Many customers opt for A4 plastic folders to protect documents from moisture. However, be aware that papers can easily fall out.

- **Recommendation:** For added security, place the plastic folder inside an additional sealed A4 envelope, as shown in the attached images.

#### Size Considerations

For documents larger than A4, such as A3, please use appropriately sized envelopes. Keep in mind that package size affects shipping costs, as fees are based on volumetric weight, calculated with this formula:

• **Volumetric Weight:** (Length × Width × Height) / 5000

### Weight Guidelines

• **Less than 1 kg:** The envelopes depicted in the images are not recommended for shipments under 1 kg to avoid extra charges.

• **1 to 2 kg:** Envelopes are suitable for documents weighing between 1 kg and 2 kg.

• **More than 2 kg:** For documents exceeding 2 kg, a sturdy box is required. Please provide the dimensions of the box (length, width, height), as size affects shipping costs.

By adhering to these guidelines, you can ensure a smooth shipping process and avoid any unexpected fees. Thank you for choosing GoZagel for your shipping needs!

# Package Shipping Guidelines

Follow these essential instructions when shipping packages to ensure your contents arrive safely and avoid any shipping issues.

## First: Packaging Restrictions

### 1. Gift Boxes

The use of gift boxes is not permitted, as they are easy to open and can lose their contents. Wrapping gift boxes in materials like stretch film does not enhance security; packaging will be opened for inspection and not resealed.

### 2. Compressed Cardboard

Using compressed cardboard for packaging is not acceptable. Inspection processes may require opening the box, which can damage the contents or cause the box to explode due to pressure. Additionally, using an oversized box can lead to damage.

### 3. Reconstructed Boxes

Avoid attempting to reduce shipping costs by cutting or assembling pieces of cardboard to create smaller boxes. This practice increases the risk of tearing during transport, potentially leading to loss of contents.

**Note:** Using improper packaging methods may result in additional protective packaging by our shipping team, which could affect box size and shipping costs. Volumetric weight is calculated as follows:

• **Volumetric Weight:** (Length × Width × Height) / 5000

## Second: Proper Packaging Requirements

Ensure your package is in a box with four corners for easy opening and closing during inspections. The box should not be torn, compressed, or reconstructed.

If your box has any brand markings, please obscure them without damaging the box.

### Shipping Fragile Products

When shipping fragile items, such as electronics, it's your responsibility to secure the contents using appropriate materials, such as:

• **Bubble Wrap**

• **Foam**

• **Padding**

The level of padding should be tailored to the item’s fragility. If sending multiple items in one box, each should be securely packaged before combining them in a sturdy, uncompressed box.

No external packaging, like straps or plastic bags, is allowed on the box.

### Labels

We recommend affixing a clear label indicating the package’s fragility. This label should be printed by you and placed on the corners to ensure safe transport.

## Third: Measuring Dimensions and Weight

Round the dimensions and weight to the nearest whole number:

• **Weight Example:

7.34 KG = 7.4 KG

• **Dimension Example:

18.3 = 19 CM

42.2 = 43 CM

24.2 = 25 CM

### Labeling Criteria

By following these guidelines, you ensure the safe and efficient shipping of your package.

Make sure to print all shipping documents, including the bill of lading or invoice if necessary. Hand these documents directly to the courier outside the envelope—do not place any shipping-related papers inside the envelope or box.

Remember to request a signed copy of the bill of lading from the courier for your records.
